Galena Engineering, Inc. was established in 1978 in Ketchum, Idaho by Richard Fosbury and Jim Koonce. In 1996 an additional office was added in Hailey, Idaho. The purpose of the firm is to provide innovative Consulting Engineering and Land Surveying Services to individuals, organizations, communities, and public agencies in the rural areas of Central and Southern Idaho. We operate with the highest professional standards and each member of our staff is committed to providing competent, personalized service to each of our clients. Our work is performed under the personal supervision of a Principal of the firm, with each Principal having extensive experience in the fields of engineering and surveying. 

Our strengths rest with experienced senior Engineering and Surveying Managers, capable of handling complex projects. A technically qualified staff of Engineers, Technicians, and Surveyors supports these senior staff members. Where the need for additional assistance in specialized engineering disciplines has been identified, the services of other individuals or firms are engaged to assist our staff. We have internal quality review procedures to assure that our work adheres to the highest quality standards of our profession.
